This is a good size single room, ideal for the single traveller of for a child or older person travelling with a couple. There is a full size single bed and a window with a view over the lawned area of our secure garden with its play equipment for small children which guests are welcome to use.

This room shares a separate toilet and large bathroom with bath and separate shower with the double / twin bedroom, Daniel Joseph Daniel, which is next to it, and the two rooms make a lovely, private family suite when let together.

This room is named after Tony's great grandfather, known to everyone as 'Bargie Grandad'. He worked on the barges in the late 1800s.  You can see a photo of him in the room. This was taken to accompany a newspaper article about him saving a child from drowning in a canal.
